FROZEN FEBRUARY

February 2015. My pipes froze, my washer froze, the bay froze, even my dog froze; her paws cracked open after just a short walk on the bay.  Despite good reason to grumble, we're taking it in stride and focusing on the positive.  The birds this time of year are epic - like, biblical epic - and I know within a few short weeks, the red-winged blackbirds will fill the reeds, a sure sign warmer weather is following suit.  Looking forward to capturing winter shift to spring, a proverbial passing of the flag from one season to another.
